After Negi’s decline on the offer, Fate then suggests another idea: He’ll let Asuna go, but Negi must turn a blind eye on Megalomesembria. Why? Fate merely states that he’s interested in the destruction of this world, the so-called “Magical World” where all fantasies and such belong in fragile harmony of an “illusion”. Or is there even harmony? After all, Megalomesembria is merely held together by simply glued sticks and stitched threads of words, agreements, and truces. You can’t even call it a world in itself.

Then again, what would we call this pitiful little piece of Earth that we’re having?

Negi’s being weighed down by the options here. Must he turn a blind eye? Must he decline? Must he secure the students back to Japan safely first, or must he intervene the plans of the madman in front of him?
