Akasaka was quick to come out. It was streamed on nico the day before it was officially aired, which was after Toradora. Pretty much earlier than Index’s release, so maybe this is good. Then again, I’m fucking late again, so what gives?
I sure picked this up out of a whim. Basically, because it was from an eroge. Second, the cast. You never get a powerhouse cast of Aya Hirano and Kugyuu in just mere coincidence. It must be fate. But that seiyuu talk only came second to the fact that it came from a visual novel designed to make a man’s dick go up by the mere power of words and pictures. Of course, I’m in no exception of blogging the game in the future.
A new breed of Kugyuu tsundereloli.
The story is about Junichi Nagase, and his late encounters with his fiancee Yuuhi Katagiri. In order to save her from two random bastards who’ve taken interest in her, he intercepts them. Luckily, the two recognize him as the “Genokiller” (seriously, what the hell’s with that name?), and flees. Yuuhi tries to approach her savior for a name in vain. Katagiri is left alone only with Junichi’s alias: Genokiller.
He then meets up with her imouto Minato at home. Okay, so he lives with an uber cute sister that doesn’t really have that much of a gap when compared to Junichi. ISN’T THAT SO UNFAIR FOR YOU LITTLE MEN? I feel relieved that we only have one bastard to kill just so we can spare everyone. But hey, it won’t hurt to kill all the fanboys thinking of incest on their little sisters now.

The student council pres, Mitsuki Shiina, is also a cutie. She’s the school idol, as far as Junichi thinks. So much for having fans, no? Making slaves has never been this easy. Also, her hairstyle is fine, though Kuro kinda sees it a bit unique. But trust me, when you’ve played a lot of eroge, you’ll be sure to see more bizarre hairstyles that even defy gravity.

Then there’s Tsukasa Kiryu, who is probably an incarnation of Aya Shameimaru. Always carrying a camera and a notebook for sccops, she scours the campus in search of the daily gossip in every nook and cranny. Dandy for a school paper jock, so yeah, interest is at a mild, normal pace. Let’s see her fare for Junichi by the next eps. And her hair ornaments look a lot like Mountain of Faith version Aya.

Now, another thing that caught my attention is Rikiya Koyama’s new role as Junichi’s class teacher, Seijiro Sugishita. Is he gay or what? I mean, really, if he’s got the hots for Junichi then this is a new low for an underdog revolution. Me likes it.

As for the story, whoever jumps the gun for a kiss on a possible tsundereloli will make heads roll, which happened to Junichi in this case. But isn’t that a given on most cases of animu? It’s also fun to see Katagiri using all the past tsundereloli moves, like the nutcracker (Louise of Zero No Tsukaima), the power punch (Shana of Shakugan no Shana? I know she used this once), and the headbutt (there was this old anime that had her character do that, I just forgot…). And to make matters worse, the address given to her for the place she’s going to stay in is in Junichi’s house! It’s just too rigged for an arranged relationship!
KUGYUU HEADBUTT IT’S SUPER EFFECTIVE!
The preview has the trio introduced to the arranged relationship, with the entrance of parents from both Yuuhi and Junichi’s sides. Well, this looks like a bit of mayhem, albeit it doesn’t still compare to Toradora’s level.
Ah, little Junichi. What other perils must you encounter to achieve true love and peace…
