As a KonoSetsu fan I was so thrilled by Chapter 252 – when I read the title ‘My partner’ I was on edge the whole way through hoping for the pactio and hoping it wouldn’t be fudged or insignificant; and Akamatsu did not dissapoint. Not only did he have the whole pactio done in a big grand way (with the long deep kiss) but more crucially he had Konoka deal with Setsuna’s worries about their future together. The strengthening of the relationship beyond friendship was even better than the kiss itself – Setsuna’s reaction to Konoka’s smile, her willingness to try and find ways to pursue happiness with Konoka, Konoka’s ability to read/understand what Setsuna’s thinking and most importantly the agreement to be partners for life.

It’s hard to see how to keep it growing, hopefully they will now be pulled slowly into more intimate situations and Setsuna will begin to drop the use of ojou-sama for Konoka in those moments.

Not much detail was out yet, except the Pactio itself. If it turns out that it’s much more juicier than what it seems to be, then we’re in for a big surprise.

Oh no, I’m definitely not in denial. It was more like “I can’t believe it finally actually happened!” I’m a huge KonoSetsu shipper, so I’m happy about this. ^_^
