Before the latest Kanozoshise chapter came out, I was still hard at thought, comparing the “new” Keima with the usual Keima of the old. I mean, compare this:
To this:
And the pillars that hold the world crumbled. Guess I was gravely mistaken, the damn bastard…
Anyways, looks like Keima’s pulling off the “adored senpai” route, where the gaping hole from which the two facts that he himself created will be joined together by Minami herself. I expected nonetheless. Quite the gamble, since Keima is betting how his future reputation will be decided by his target. But once imagination, curiosity and interest combine, I think I see where Keima’s coming from.
Still, the spirit is yet to manifest itself, with yet-to-be-known properties and attributes. Will it spring forth due to Minami’s admiration to Keima, or will it be the result of the recent bad events concerning swimming and herself? It will be all the more trouble if it’s the former, since Keima’s using “love” as his capturing factor. If worse comes to worst, this will have a roadblack labeled: “admiration has not been converted to love”. All I know is that “bird’s nest” hair’s going to go haywire soon enough.
ENLIGHTENMENT!!!
And yes, the bastard deserved those dislocated shoulder bones and overstretched arm muscles. Thank you very much, Elsee.
