Episode starts with Tatsuya having doubts on his machine. He takes it to Kitami and finds out that the body needs to be aligned in order to output more speed. Kitami then recommends him to Takagi. Meanwhile, Reina gets a glimpse of a silver white Supra cruising on C1, and then finds out from Yamamoto that a client tried to race it but crashed. Moreover, it seems that Kitami, Yamamoto, Takagi, and the others seem to be very stricken to its appearance, and association to the name “Aizawa”, who was the acclaimed “Illusive Top Speed Racer” 15 years prior. Now the Supra’s back, with a mystery driver in it. Night fell, and Akio was called in by Takagi for a favor. Takagi wants Akio to drive the Blackbird, which was delivered by Tatsuya for the body work. They cruise and meet the Supra, whose mystery driver was Aizawa Keiichiro, son of “Aizawa”. He works as a host on a club to earn money for his racing, and is on the prowl for Blackbird. Akio and Keiichiro meet up at the Loop, with Keiichiro losing when they get into C1. Keiichiro then warns the Blackbird that he’ll be back, stronger than ever.
My impressions would be about the sudden appearance of the Monster Supra, manned by Keiichiro, which a lot of people have trouble discerning his name. It’s KEIICHIRO, not Keiji. His nicks are usually Keiichi or Kei, with the former being usually used a lot by the person himself. Another thing to note is the sudden infatuation of Reina to Akio, whilst Akio doesn’t even notice a bit of it since he’s convinced that he’s in love with the Devil Z, not with Reina. Well, that’s a given. Also, we’re going to the stage where Shima loses confidence to himself and his car to the extent of losing resolve. It’s going to be interesting how the Blackbird is going to be toppled down finally from its throne.
No, no previews shown here. Sorry if I have no pics for that.
