The Gallery, and the MMOG Way of Life (Part 1…?)

I’m currently fixing the Gallery page for me to keep my works intact for you guys to view. Though I might have some time thinking if I should post old works or no, I’m having trouble fixing the new ones as well, all the more that I have to categorize them painstakingly. But anyways, it’s just a matter of time to get this page rolling, so I might as well mosey.

My Ingame Character in Dream of Mirror Online (a.k.a. DOMO)

Shance, my ingame character in Dream of Mirror Online (a.k.a. DOMO)

Apparently, I’m on a task to backtrack all my works, finished or not, for this year. At least that’s the first step. Moreover, I think I’m going to have a bit of trouble having to put them all up since some hosting sites I used to upload them may have removed them off their bunk, and so I have to find the raw files from my hard drive trunk, my CD, or DVD library. That’s going to be some assbaker there, since I have a plethora of those data saucers. Ultimately, it’s going to take some time.

So, for something off the record, why did I suddenly post, or draw, something unrelated to Touhou? Well, for once, I’m getting the hang of MMOG hopping, and I found out that most of them have the same hairstyle I liked. I mean, try going to Trickster Online (which is by the way having their Season 2 debut), and have a look at their Bunny/Boxer class. It’s a bunny girl alright, and in middle school clothes too. Wait, check the gloves! Aren’t they neeeeeat? Now, let’s move on to DOMO (which I’m currently in since I got fed up of TO Season 1, and they’re having continuous updates here and there too). Ooo, will you look at that! A Sprite (basically the loli and shota class of the game, which everyone loves, especially for those 20+ guys and gals who wished they were still wee kids, no offense) with permanent (meaning it’s not timed, most items on MMOGs have timers in it that expires said item after the given timeframe, like a month, or a week) bunny ears! Now, slap in a pair of boxing gloves while taking on the Martial Artist class, and you almost get the same character. Boringly repetitive, but I like it in my case.

So, we have a little bunny girl, with uber cool silver armor, a plethora of jobs and weapons, with a toddler pet beside her (not shown, those are eye candy for some “people” and “players). So what would be a good theme for an entry for the game’s drawing contest?

Unlimited Blade Works? That sounds fine. Let’s do it!

Then I lost. What a bummer. I curse my inability to color things! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!

So there, in order for you to get items you usually pay for Lord knows how much, you join ingame contest and try to win some random crappy wildcard that spouts out either a good or a crappy item.

IT’S A FRIKKIN ONESHOT AFTER ALL!

But ah, the joys of creation. Even if I didn’t win, I liked how the sketch came out anyway, so what gives on the loss, right?

Anyways, check out the gallery every now and then for some CGs and sketches. I’ll be updating that in a good basis, so keep watch.
