Son Gohan: Well, Nasu’s way of storytelling in general terms (be it novel, VN, or anime) is already confusing enough to the point of retardedness. If you don’t have such a logical way of thinking, not a point will be understood. Basically, it’s not for the faint of heart, not for the weak of mind, and definitely not for someone without a good sense of patience. At this chapter, Nasu is making you see how the situation goes on Kokuto’s point of view, regardless of timeline. And like Choux said, it will come out in the latter chapters, so just keep the current info and piece up the clues from the upcoming movies later on.

@Son Gohan: that’s just the way this is. this is a 2 part chapter and the answers will come in a few movies. Don’t think about it and just enjoy the music and pretty pictures until the answers arrive.

I was disappointed with this movie. I think that these movies can appeal only to Nasu fans who have previous knowledge of the source material. They explained nothing in this movie, the final confrontation between Kokuto and Shiki is left without a resolution. They didn’t explain how Kokuto managed to survive while Shiki is in a coma. This is not good cinema. If I had not read the correponding chapter of the novel I would be very pissed.
