Melty Blood Act Cadenza Version B GST

So, I grabbed hold of Melty Blood Act Cadenza Version B GST. It’s been ages since I tried to get this thing, since the first Melty Blood GST (ReACT? I dunno, all the tracks in it are from ReACT, so…) kinda left me in a daze with all the missing tracks.

Two CDs for 40 legit tracks worth 118MB. I feel cheated…

The tracks are nice. Nicely done fadeout at the end of tracks, more than twice on loop counts (Aoko’s theme for example had 3 loops), and the next song starts smoothly like how it does on the game. Some tracks changed, though, like Warcueid’s theme The End of 1000 Years (which is one of my faves BTW), which had some changes on some parts when compared to its ReACT version.

The only thing I wanted to complain about is the size, of course. Disc 1 had 24 tracks, but Disc 2 was bigger, but only had 16 tracks. What the shit? And all at 118MB? Oh come on.

Yummy succubus in every pack.

But anyways, me and Kaorin are currently doing a project for Touhouhime, specifically music arranges, with the use of some of the tracks from Melty Blood. If all goes well, we’ll be including a bonus track for Touhouhime either on or after Another Dream 4, so watch out for it.

MBAC’s soundtrack is the only one I find acceptable for day to day listening out of all the fighting games I played. And when with friends who know what this is all about, it gets even better… sometimes you just wish they would implement a feature which would let you loop a certain part of the song over and over again.

True enough….. WAIT. Haven’t you tried Immaterial and Missing Power or Scarlet Weather Rhapsody? Those games have cool tracks too. And they’re Touhou, so you’ll have to pardon my Touhoufag sense tingling you.
