A Cat is Fi-WAIT… That One’s Already Taken…

NEKO-NYA! Yup-nya! It’s about time I post in something typical that I like aside from anything you’ll see and find inside a computer-nya: CATS-NYA!

Mikan-chan, youngest of the two cats I have, and the daughter of Vanilla-san.

Yeah, that’s a lame name for a cat, more lame than the mandarin citrus box it implies. But aside from the black and white blotches she got from her mom, RIGHT, SHE’S ORANGE. And no, she doesn’t look like orange sundae when you look at her from afar. I’m expecting her to give birth in a matter of months since that stupid cat from the first floor raped the highlights out of her (no wonder she didn’t come back for around a day or two…).

And strange enough, she still tries to get milk from her mom’s now obsolete mammary glands…

This is Vanilla-san. No, not Vanilla-chan, but Vanilla-san. I can’t call her that anymore since she’s older in cat years than I am. And she’s a proud mom of Mikan-chan too, though I sometimes can’t get it when she lets Mikan have some breastfeeding. I got her name from the majority color that I saw on her fur: White. I should probably toss in the fact that I was watching Galaxy Angel when I first found her, too…

Aside from being furry and cute, they’re also a big pain in the behind to manage. They steal food, break stuff when they play (THEY BROKE MY DEATHSCYTHE GUNDAAAAAAAAM!), attacks you with Fury Swipes if they’re mad, and squeal mightily noisy when food is about to be served. Oh, and they also love lying down on the futon when it’s laid out.

You might want to ask why I didn’t name them after Touhou characters. There are a lot of reasons for that. First, Vanilla-san came in before Touhou did. Second, Mikan-chan (who came in AFTER Touhou did) had the bad mix of orange in her, and that kinda got me fiddling for names. If she were black and white I’d call her Marisa, but I like Mikan-chan the way she is now, so no.

The grooming continues… Or rather, I don’t have anything more pictures to post so I’m lame at this.

Well, I’ll have to wait till Mikan-chan gives birth, then maybe I’ll have more opportunities to name the kitties better or take some pictures (though that would be most unlikely at the moment). I do wish they transform into loli little girls though. But no, having a succubus in the room would be bad for the neighbors. Is it that bad a thing to request?
