Sharing the impoverished times together, more than a year on this place, more than six years in entirety.
It’s been a very long while. I haven’t changed that much regarding my liking for the game. More like time makes it pass that I was almost on the verge of forgetting it. But no matter. I always upheld my support for the Impoverished Miko, and as the Impoverished Otaku, I think I should carry on with it.
Touhou never fails to mesmerize people with its beautiful patterns, hard-as-concrete difficulty, witty characters, and supernatural storyline. Touhou creator ZUN opened his universe for the fans with expectations that the people who appreciate his work would understand and patronize them more than he can. What he expected happened, but he didn’t expect something as grandslam as his legacy is as of now.

It just came. I don’t know how, I don’t know why. I don’t even think it needs a reason. But just a few hours ago, idiots became the strongest people, and that potent illusion may have come from one of the finest cats for the day.
Definitely agreeable, no?

I killed Rudoph, I got your kid’s loots for Christmas, and I’m plundering Davy Jone’s ship! How fucking random can you get?!
Aside from a splash page of Reimu cloudriding on a boat, ZUN’s latest game seems to be something that has the good ol’ danmaku elements back. For the last few games, I’ve been having qualms about the rules and systems used in the past Touhou games, specifically Mountain of Faith and Subterranean Animism. Of course, you guys should know the gist of it because I didn’t post anything from said games. Now, it’s getting oldschool, and interesting again at that.

This picture’s definitely a classic, I tell you. I’ve seen this little Wakimiko go round the Touhou communities lots of times, so I think we shouldn’t be surprised some people are picking this up the other way. Check out this Wakimiko Reimu cosplayer doing the exact same pose as the original above:

Another futile attempt for Touhou anime? I think not. Old post may be old, though.
Well, I’ll be. Just when I said I wouldn’t do episodic blogging, lots of interesting stuff pop out. FuyuComi may not have that much riches, but at least it offered some pretty decent (or semi-decent) stuff. This is one of them. Limited Edition comes with Soundtrack, Artbook, and Postcard Set. But if you just want to settle with watching it, then get the subs. Just a reminder, though: The DVD itself IS subbed, so if you thought you shouldn’t get the legit stuff, think again.

Something’s missing in here…
