The Gallery, and the MMOG Way of Life (Part 2?!)

I’m adding another piece in the gallery after a few minutes of self-idling. This is a finished CG lineart I did back then, I’m sure a lot of people have seen this already, but I’ll still add it in the list for completion purposes.

Sakuya1

Sakuya is ready for the taking.

The original’s a badly patched up scan that I screwed up when I was saving it. I was then having a great regret of my life when I suddenly remembered: “Hey, I can just lineart this. This can be salvaged!”

What a mighty idiot I was for not even thinking straight…

Sak0

The crappy original.

Took me around half a day to finish in total hours, but all was good. Then again, having a crappy original kinda pisses me off.

So, for something off the record (AGAIN), why do I rather play Touhou than MMOGs in a sense that I don’t even go online for a day if I wished to? Well for one thing, IT’S NOT JUST TOUHOU. There’re eroges for the taking! All you have to do is get them, buy them, install the stuff, and savor the oh, so good stuff hidden inside those data saucers. I like lit, I like danmaku, what gives if I can just blast fairies and youkai or read an entirely enticing visual novel over having to whack some random monster for experience FOR EIGHT FRIKKIN HOUUUUUUUUURS!!!

And not a single level-up too.

That’s one perk you’d have to hate on MMOGs: you take out the trash, and you don’t get as much benefit as you deserve as levels go by. So by rule of the crappy book, you move to another location, you kill more powerful monsters, or get killed in the process too. And so we teach our little fragile kids the rule of violence. Not that I can care seeing a kid trying to whack his father with a carpenter’s hammer just so he can enact a Blacksmith’s Hammer Fall on “PVP”. Good job on that, son.

The Gallery, and the MMOG Way of Life (Part 1…?)

I’m currently fixing the Gallery page for me to keep my works intact for you guys to view. Though I might have some time thinking if I should post old works or no, I’m having trouble fixing the new ones as well, all the more that I have to categorize them painstakingly. But anyways, it’s just a matter of time to get this page rolling, so I might as well mosey.

My Ingame Character in Dream of Mirror Online (a.k.a. DOMO)

Shance, my ingame character in Dream of Mirror Online (a.k.a. DOMO)

Apparently, I’m on a task to backtrack all my works, finished or not, for this year. At least that’s the first step. Moreover, I think I’m going to have a bit of trouble having to put them all up since some hosting sites I used to upload them may have removed them off their bunk, and so I have to find the raw files from my hard drive trunk, my CD, or DVD library. That’s going to be some assbaker there, since I have a plethora of those data saucers. Ultimately, it’s going to take some time.

So, for something off the record, why did I suddenly post, or draw, something unrelated to Touhou? Well, for once, I’m getting the hang of MMOG hopping, and I found out that most of them have the same hairstyle I liked. I mean, try going to Trickster Online (which is by the way having their Season 2 debut), and have a look at their Bunny/Boxer class. It’s a bunny girl alright, and in middle school clothes too. Wait, check the gloves! Aren’t they neeeeeat? Now, let’s move on to DOMO (which I’m currently in since I got fed up of TO Season 1, and they’re having continuous updates here and there too). Ooo, will you look at that! A Sprite (basically the loli and shota class of the game, which everyone loves, especially for those 20+ guys and gals who wished they were still wee kids, no offense) with permanent (meaning it’s not timed, most items on MMOGs have timers in it that expires said item after the given timeframe, like a month, or a week) bunny ears! Now, slap in a pair of boxing gloves while taking on the Martial Artist class, and you almost get the same character. Boringly repetitive, but I like it in my case.

東方枕紫境: East Pillow Purple Boundary

Lookie here! I’ve got something interesting from Orochi-Iichan! Patchy finally gets her own doujin eroge(ABOUT DAMN TIME! Reimu, Alice, and some others have already done the drill) in the name of 東方枕紫境: East Pillow Purple Boundary.

Made by a group called PHAN-MMK, this is about our resident hikkikomori Patchouli being shorthanded on library work. Of course, there’s Koakuma, but lately the work’s getting a bit out of hand. So Patch decided to summon something for a helping hand. However, since she’s anemic, it got in her way on the ritual and summoned a human being named 檜山 宗大(ンータ (that’s YOU) instead. Now, what’s so special about this kid (that’s YOU) anyway? Well, for one he’s (that’s YOU) a failed summoning, i.e. a possible failure (sorry, I need to point that out or I RAGE). Second, he’s (that’s YOU) from the outside world…

Wait, what the heck?! Yukari’s the only one capable of that, so why… oh… I get it. Nevermind.

Anyways, Patch really can’t do anything about it, can she? So she decides to keep the human (that’s YOU) and train him (that’s YOU) in a span of three months to become a mage. Effective countermeasures? Not that I think about it, but having another mage around means less theft (probably), and more assistance on library work (probably).

The story starts after the summoning, following a Tsukihime-ish pattern of interface (CG’d characters against RL environs, most of it) and some so-so MIDI music as days pass by in a manner of minutes. Of course, that gets our sexual escapades sped up as well. And this is good, since sex in the Scarlet Devil Mansion has never been this good in a while. But well, yeah, most of the jobs are done inside the library, and with Patch. I’m kinda wondering how she’s doing the humping with anemia around her…
