Scarlet Weather Update: Update Patch 1.03 Is Out!

FINALLY!

Yup, it’s out. And since all of Tasofro’s mirrors are down (you can’t even actually enter the site anymore), it’s uploaded already in mediafire. Get it here!

Strike Witches 9: Things I Want To Protect

As I expected, my predictions were true. So much for the anticipated Mio-Minna lovey-dovey. And since the dorama is out in the open, along with a lot of extensive information and all that blablabla, I got a good dose  character material for today’s ep. You’ll have to pardon the tl;dr.

Minna’s held Mio (thank you TheBigN for correcting me) at gunpoint, and requests her not to wear a Striker Unit again. Of course, Mio isn’t surprised. The incident from last ep was something that was expected by both persons, though they don’t want to admit the fact. But still, Mio insists that she must still fly.

But really, it’s a given that you must give in on a Lady In Red.

Thus, we get the idea of why Mio was recruiting Yoshika for the 501st, and why she’s taking so much interest in her: First, she’s a prominent personality, considering Minafuji’s father was the Striker Unit’s creator. Second, Mio needs a replacement, a certain someone who’ll take her place if something happens to her. Now we see Perinne being childish, Yoshika being serious, and the atmosphere between the factions of the countries that are involved intensifying. No wonder they’re trying to silence Minna.

“You know too much. DO NOT GET INVOLVED.”

Negima Chapter 224: Incredible Strength! Fate’s Beautiful Young Warriors!

Well, what do you know? MOAR ACTION! I’m so anticipating this.

Negi’s party is already prepared for any attacks made on them if they are to consider Fate as a formidable opponent. In this case, a counterattack is in order. At this point in time, it’s where we see whose guns draw faster bullets.

Shirabe confronts Chiu, Honya and Paru, while Kotomi and Tamaki are tasked to handle Rakan. This is to ensure nobody gets to Negi during Fate’s crucial blackmail. Will Negi give in? Will he accept? Will he refuse? We’re not just talking persons or VIPs here. We’re talking WORLDS. Fate sure is playing a dirty hand this time around. But hey, he’s ALWAYS playing the dirty hand! Who gives a damn thinking about a certain point of hesitation?

MUDADA!

Paru is getting impressive by the minute as she conjures impressive drawings in mere seconds (Inferno Aniki EX is fukken manly, I tell you), but her and Honya’s powers aren’t enough to stop Shirabe as even Paru’s ultimate defense was rendered useless. She holds true that no series is without destructive music. Flesh-ripping soundwaves are good for your ears, no? At least Kotaro’s there to kick some horned, CAVED! ass… probably…

This is soooo not Rekka no Honoo…

Zero no Tsukaima – Princess no Rondo Halftime Report

Sweet! Halftime Report!

Well, I’ve got nothing much to say. Just some complaints, some shout-outs, probably something to clear out to that stupid Censorship-san (like, how does “GET THE FUCK OFF MY ECCHI SHOWS!” sound?). But yeah, I do have a few points to note.

I don’t really have complaints about JC Staff’s continued depiction of the anime, and how it’s striving hard to be as canon to the novel as possible. It’s just that sometimes, there are inconsistencies that leave me hanging. Such an example would have to be Derf using powers to escape into Westwood Forest with Saito.  In the novel, Derf controlled Saito’s body and moved it away from the battlefield, while in the anime, Derf simply teleported Saito into Tifa’s woods. Amazingly, it did work out for the series since there isn’t really anything wrong with the means, so I don’t know if this would count as a complaint or a compliment.

“Character Development” is always welcome.
