True enough, if you want to find good content aside from the well-known sites that provide mainstay shit, which at most times do better than expected, you have to handpick most of them yourself. That being said, I think it’s time for me to join the fray on the sites-that-interest-the-hell-out-of-me-but-I-didn’t-plan-to-add-to-the-linkroll-yet craze! Screw swine flu. Eating pigs isn’t really a good thing to do from the start, anyway.
Well, not really…
Summer’s been around for a few weeks already. The blistering heat is enough to put anyone to the physical and mental edges. And of course, the most basic excuse is to head somewhere to cool off.
And don’t ask me for a Ladies’ Meal.
For one, I have no actual love for gambling. It’s not all about the win-lose specifics, or the money or something you have to bet in order to be able to play. Rather, it’s the fact that I have to bet something (trust me, betting your most precious Haagen-Dasz English Tofee half gallon tub after losing a battle of hanafuda is BAD), or denote myself within some sort of stature or position, be it good or bad, just because of a game. If so, why do I feel a sense of interest and humility when I grazed upon Saki, more than everyone going ga-ga and raining K-ON posts all over the world?

Okay, let me get this straight. I’m not watching Akikan just because the novel illustrations were drawn by former Navel artist Suzuhira Hiro, nor do I watch it because it had a so-so plot that consists of some watered-down, Kinoko Nasu-type Grail War chock full of fucked up mentality, sexual innuendos, amorous vibes, and antics reeking of HARD GAY. No, no, I don’t watch it for those reasons. If there’s going to be a reason, it’s only just one: take the pull tab, swallow it, choke to death, and see how deep the rabbit hole goes. No success so far, though.
