Why Sei☆Zon Suddenly Won The Season: Applying Reverse Psychology On Slice-Of-Life

Four Seasons: This student council ain’t finished yet. Or will it ever be?

Digitalboy always said to me that I don’t have appreciation for slice-of-life. I admit that. For someone who finds curiosity as an asset, I find my inner fire on the weird, peculiar, taboo, and for the most part, insane. Of course, that also means that I don’t find anything interesting from the norm. This attitude puts me at odds with society, where everyone sees me as an embodiment of the abnormal, the uncommon, the perverse, and the reverse. No, no, I’m not bragging about it. I’m just telling you about it because it will greatly affect the entirety of this post.

Observing Your Clubs, Enjoying The Chaos

Now,  do go on, don’t mind me. I’m just a weird person who’s smiling wickedly by itself while watching attempts of camaraderie.

It’s been a while since I last found myself reading Saturnity’s grand enlightenment again. Now, it’s safe to say I can gladly blame him for concocting another pastime for myself: Observing fanclubs. And judging by the streak it’s making, it’s as interesting as your usual dose of Internet dorama. I’m not going to force you guys to take this ride, but I do appreciate if you hear me out on how the ride’s going so far.

The Christmas Day of the Impoverished Otaku

Lonely Christmas no more: Eating and playing Pocky games with Palette. Then again, considering she’s my mascot (a “moefied” version of myself), does it mean I’m actually playing with myself?

It’s Christmas Day. Christmas Eve has gone by, along with the food, booze, gifts, and greetings to go with it, and the rest of the day seems to promise a more joyous celebration. And for us, the day moves on with our loved ones, both real and fictional. No Santa costumes here, no reindeer costumes either. I want my Christmas simple, but creative. Who knows? It just might add a personal touch of fandom. Works for me, so it should work for you too.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

Oh, and if you want to play Pocky games with Palette yourself, here’s her image file. If Palette seems a bit “off” to you, try Reimu, or Alice.

Kara No Kyokai: The Road Does Not End Here

At long last, it is done. Shiki herself has motioned to stop telling her story, and alas, we who have been captivated by her seem to ask for more, even though we already know that nothing else will be given aside from what was. Maybe it was concluded in a way that lets us fabricate and create our own “speculations”. Maybe there’s one more movie coming, or an omake episode, or something that would put our minds at ease. Denial, denial, denial, and it seemed never-ending for me. I know others feel the same way, too.

‘Tis the Inversion Impulse of the Inversion Impulse (this is official Takeuchi art by the way, perfect jailbait for Shin on Mana).

The Impurity of the Impoverished Otaku

Palette3

/stain: “practicality” “impurity” “corruption

I was visiting the Moritheil Review when I stumbled upon this site. Well, it’s not really a site. It’s an “otaku purity test” that tells if you really are an otaku at heart, and how pure or impure are you in being one. It’s got questions mostly aimed at the American audience, but I took it anyway. The result:
