I’m Not Ashamed Of My Porn: Shance No Ecchi!

… the best way to say “thank you” in Japan is to…that’s right, JAM IT IN.

Mischif (2010/01/05)

I recently had a nice conversation with a friend. It simply started out with our favorite artists and their artwork and the genres they usually draw. Of course, given that kind of topic, one thing led to another, and eventually, we found ourselves openly talking about porn. Yes. Porn.

And since it’s a post about porn, let’s tag it as NOT SAFE FOR WORK before we go tackle the juicy parts.

Rule 34: Hentai, ecchi, yaoi, yuri, call it whatever you want to call it. You can never consider yourself a fan if you can’t consider having earthly desires for the cause.

Impoverished Takes on Hardcore Gaming: Take That, TheBigN-I mean, Shikieiki!

Two years.

For two years, I didn’t think of playing Touhou Kaeidzuka (東方花映塚, though most of you know it as Phantasmagoria of Flower View, or simply PoFV ). All those short sessions back then were something out of boredom. Now that I’ve picked up the pace, I played it again, and here’s what I got:

Fin Funneling: Diversifying the Otaku Blogger

I looooooooove Fin Funnels. I couldn’t imagine my Gundam without them.

In the Gundam universe, Fin Funnels are known as one of the most uncanny weapons made for the experienced Newtype. Through the Newtype’s psychic powers, they destroy enemies with almost dead-on accuracy. They also last longer than conventional funnels because of their built-in energy generators. Finally, Fin Funnels have a feature not found in any other Newtype weaponry: They form a “guard” that protects the Mobile Suit from incoming fire, be it solid ammunition or energy beams.

So what is “Fin Funneling”, and how does it diversify the otaku blogger?

Valentine’s Day Special: A Time When I Can Say I’m In Love With Myself

The idea came into me before Valentine’s Day. “Who’s going to be your fictional valentine, and what kind of sweet would you expect from her?” Since I was afraid to ask anybody who’s not into fictional valentines, or anybody who doesn’t like sweets and desserts like I do, I asked 2DT first (which he replied quickly with a nice little post here).

… Yes?

Hanamaru Yochien First Impressions: GAINAX Y U SLICE MAI LIFE

REIMU KOUME AT 9 O’CLOCK: Digiboy, if there’s someone I can clearly blame on this, that would really have to be you.

Okay, fine. I’m convinced that there’s actually something that’s good for Winter season. I admit defeat, Winter.  You too, GAINAX. You both happy now?

Hanamaru Yochien. A seemingly harmless, slice-of-life-ish show featuring kindergarten life: Kids, caretakers, parents and all. But before you (or in a much more dramatic case, I) can think it’s going to be the same mundane type of show that has a 99.9% probability to mutate into a case of KODOMO NO JIKAN, the show suddenly shows an inner gem in a setting where innocence is so abundant and sustaining, it defeats any sense of precociousness and false instances of maturity.
